Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, governance, and delivery of large-scale enterprise network security and cybersecurity initiatives. This role is responsible for driving strategic security programs, ensuring successful implementation of modern security architectures, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight for multiple concurrent cybersecurity and network security initiatives, including Secure Service Edge (SSE), Prisma Access, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementations, firewall modernization, network security control enhancements, cloud security integration, and related security transformation programs.

This role requires close collaboration with business partners, technology teams, cybersecurity stakeholders, architects, operations teams, and vendors to ensure successful project execution, business adoption, operational readiness, and long-term supportability of solutions and services.


Key Responsibilities

Enterprise IT & Cybersecurity Leadership

  • Act as the senior program lead accountable for enterprise network security and secure access portfolios.
  • Provide strategic leadership and governance across multiple cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of Zero Trust and Security-by-Design principles.
  • Build and maintain relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, architects, cybersecurity teams, and vendors.
  • Chair governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder working groups.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on program health, risks, dependencies, financials, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Champion project management, cybersecurity, and operational best practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance security posture, governance maturity, operational effectiveness, and service delivery.

Advanced Network Security Program Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale network security and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Manage strategic programs including:
    • Secure Service Edge (SSE)
    • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
    • Prisma Access Deployments
    • Web Application Firewall (WAF) Implementations
    • Next Generation Firewall Modernization
    • Enterprise Network Security Control Enhancements
    • Cloud Security Integration Projects
    • Secure Remote Access and VPN Modernization Programs
  • Gather business, operational, and technical requirements.
  • Develop project roadmaps, schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and change control processes.
  • Coordinate delivery activities across architecture, security engineering, cloud services, network operations, and vendor teams.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery, implementation, operational, and security risks.
  • Ensure successful transition into operations, including documentation, knowledge transfer, operational readiness, and service monitoring.
  • Drive optimization opportunities across security technologies, processes, and service delivery models.

Project Management & Communication

  • Manage governance, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and reporting activities.
  • Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, requirements gathering, risk reviews, and decision-making forums.
  • Establish project roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and performance expectations.
  • Communicate complex technical and project information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups while balancing competing priorities.
  • Manage risks, issues, conflicts, and dependencies through resolution.
  • Support change management and business readiness activities.
  • Deliver executive briefings, dashboards, presentations, and status reports.
  • Ensure adherence to established project management standards, governance processes, and reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

Leadership & Strategy

  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale enterprise IT modernization and cybersecurity programs.
  • Experience providing executive oversight across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong experience collaborating with business leaders, technology teams, cybersecurity stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Proven record driving organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
