What you'll be doing

As a Senior Project Manager, Enterprise Programs, you will support CIBC-wide strategic, regulatory programs. Enterprise-wide programs have high impact and high complexity over multiple years and span multiple lines of business across the regions.  With a delivery excellence mindset, you’ll be focused on executing against comprehensive project plans, supporting reporting and financial management and fostering partnerships that will support strong business outcomes.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote 

How you’ll succeed 

  • Project Management – Detailed project planning, support of governance structure, status reporting and financial reporting.
  • Project Coordination – Proactively identify risks to the project schedule and find ways to mitigate them. Monitor milestones; ensure they’re completed according to timelines and budgets.
  • Matrix Management – Able to form strong relationships at all levels, and partner with other teams to get deliverables done. 
  • Creative Problem Solving – Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, understand business context quickly and connect the dots. Continuous improvement is part of your DNA. 
  • Communication – Clear, concise and compelling executive-level presentations and reporting.

Who you are: 

  • You have 4-5 years’ experience in Project Management and project financial reporting. You can demonstrate a deep understanding of the practices, procedures, and principles required to successfully deliver large projects under the Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF), from planning to implementation. 
  • You have an ability to orchestrate activities across multiple workstreams simultaneously, identify linkages and manage parallel activities, deadlines and priorities effectively.  
  • You embrace and advocate for change. You continuously evolve your thinking and the way you work to deliver your best.
