Our mission
The trucking and logistics industry provides the backbone of the economy. But the payments infrastructure on which it runs is broken. For the hard-working men and women of this sector, the existing suite of payment tools is outdated, difficult to use, prone to fraud, and saddled with shady fee structures. The incumbent players in this space often overlook the economic and practical needs of this user base.
We're changing that. AtoB is building Stripe for Transportation — modernizing the payments infrastructure for trucking and logistics. Supply chains rely on the timely movement of capital to function efficiently. Our end game is a world in which that capital movement occurs fairly, smoothly, and without delay. As we pursue that end game, we aim to center our customers in every way — offering them world-class customer experience and building products that work with and around the unique constraints of their daily lives. We build for fleet managers in the office and drivers on the road. We strive for products that are efficient, satisfying, and useful. Our customers enable our modern economy — they deserve it.
Our history and background
Our founding team has backgrounds in payments, working on autonomous vehicles at Cruise Automation, leading ops and growth for Uber, and building apps that were featured on the Apple app store. We have staff and senior engineers from Google, Uber, Meta, Shopify, Stripe, Chime, and other leading technology companies.
We have raised $125 million+ from investors such as General Catalyst, Elad Gil, Bloomberg Beta, Y Combinator, XYZ; founders and CEOs of companies such as Google (Eric Schmidt), Salesforce (Marc Benioff), Coinbase (Brian Armstrong), DoorDash (Tony Xu), Instacart, Gusto; strategic investors like Mastercard, Flexport and Samsara.
We were named to Forbes annual Next Billion-Dollar Startup List, and have just recently been selected to join the World Economic Forum as a Global Innovator.
About the roleAs a Senior Product Manager at AtoB, you'll own a core surface of product end-to-end — shaping the strategy, leading a cross-functional pod, and shipping products that change how a multi-hundred-billion-dollar industry handles money.
You won't be a feature factory. You'll be expected to develop a sharp point of view on where we should bet next, defend it with evidence, and then drive a team to execute. You'll spend real time with truckers, dispatchers, fleet managers, freight brokers, and factoring partners — because the best product instincts in this market come from people who've actually sat in a truck stop.
This is a high-ownership role with broad scope. You'll help set the bar for how a product gets built here.
What you'll doDevelop a deep point of view on AtoB's competitive position and where we should invest next — grounded in direct conversations with customers and ecosystem partners (freight brokers, factoring companies, fuel networks).
Own the strategy and roadmap for your area, including success metrics, sequencing, and the trade-offs that come with both.
Lead a cross-functional pod of engineers, designers, BizOps, and partners across Sales, Partnerships, and Support — from discovery through launch and iteration.
Run user research with fleet managers and drivers, including in-the-field visits. Ground every decision in real customer pain, not internal opinion.
Use GenAI tooling (Claude Code and similar) to prototype quickly and align the org behind a shared vision before committing engineering resources. We expect PMs here to operate hands-on with these tools — not just direct others to use them.
Partner with design to ship UX that works for users with widely varying levels of technical fluency, on devices ranging from desktops in dispatch offices to phones on the road.
Use data to drive prioritization, measure impact, and make the case for what to build next.
Must-haves
5+ years of product management experience, ideally including B2B or enterprise software
A track record of operating across the full product arc — vision and strategy through detailed execution and GTM
Strong customer research instincts; comfortable running discovery sessions with non-technical users in person and remotely
Hands-on experience using GenAI tools to prototype, communicate, and accelerate your own work
Strong written and verbal communication; able to influence engineers, designers, executives, and external partners with differing technical backgrounds
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguous, complex product launches
Comfort working with data (SQL or equivalent) to investigate questions and back up decisions
Nice to have
Background in transportation, trucking, logistics, fuel cards, or fleet payments
Experience at an early- or mid-stage startup
Experience building for field-based, blue-collar, or otherwise underserved end users
