The Role

As a Senior Product Manager at Athennian, you will play a critical role in shaping our product roadmap and delivering features that meet the needs of our customers. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of product management practices, user-focused design, and experience in agile environments. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and customer success to ensure our product solutions are both effective and innovative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Contribute to the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps, aligning with Athennian’s overall business objectives
  • Market Analysis: Conduct competitive research and market analysis to ensure Athennian’s offerings are innovative and best-in-class.
  • Feature Development: Drive the product life cycle from ideation to launch, focusing on features that enhance user experience and solve customer pain points
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, and other teams to prioritize features, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of product initiatives
  • User Research & Feedback: Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for product improvement
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics to inform product decisions, track performance, and iterate on features

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, ideally within SaaS or legal tech
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail: Skilled in translating vision into actionable product strategies, well-defined requirements, and prioritized roadmaps
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and concepts to diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Commercialization Expertise: Demonstrated experience driving product commercialization strategies, collaborating closely with go-to-market teams (e.g., sales, marketing, and customer success) to drive high conversion and revenue 
  • Execution power-house: Proven experience owning mission critical projects, driving them to completion on time and delivering measurable outcomes

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience in legal technology, corporate governance, or compliance software is a plus.

Location

Hybrid, Toronto, ON. 1-2 days per week working from our Toronto office.
