Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, electricians, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber, they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!

Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
Getting paid is one of the most important moments in a small business’s workflow.

For many home service businesses, the job is not done until the money is in the bank. But getting paid can still be slow, manual, and harder than it should be. Invoices go out late. Checks get delayed. Owners spend time chasing money instead of running their business.

That’s where Jobber Payments comes in.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager, Payments Growth to help more customers discover, adopt, and get value from Jobber Payments. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of customer experience and product growth. You’ll own key parts of the payments funnel across discovery, enablement, activation, and retention, helping more Pros get up and running with Jobber Payments and experience the value of getting paid fast.

The Team

Fintech is one of the fastest-growing parts of Jobber, and a core strategic priority for us as a company. We're investing in this growing area because we believe embedding financial tools within our product deepens our ability to help small businesses be successful.

Whether it’s helping small businesses get paid using Jobber Payments, getting access to capital to invest in growth, or offering financing to our customers’ customers, we believe small business owners should have seamless access to financial tools that allow them to thrive.

Simply put, we care much more about our customers than any financial institution ever will. That’s our superpower.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager, Payments Growth who is excited by the idea of helping more small businesses discover, adopt, and succeed with a better way to get paid.

In this role, you’ll own the strategy and execution behind growing Jobber Payments adoption and usage. You’ll look across the full customer journey: how customers discover payments, understand the value, enable the product, activate successfully, build it into their workflow, and continue using it over time.

You’ll identify where the experience breaks down, where friction exists, and where the biggest opportunities are to improve conversion and retention. Some of that work will look like shaping longer-term strategy. Some of it will look like rolling up your sleeves, running experiments, learning quickly, and iterating your way to better outcomes.

This role is a strong fit for someone who is both strategic and scrappy. Someone who can spot opportunity in the data, talk directly to customers, and move quickly from insight to execution. You should be excited to own outcomes, not just ship features.

As a Senior Product Manager, Payments Growth, you will:

  • Own the growth strategy and roadmap for Jobber Payments, with accountability across discovery, enablement, activation, retention, and revenue outcomes.

  • Identify and prioritize the biggest opportunities across the funnel, from awareness and signup through onboarding, first-use, repeat usage, and long-term retention.

  • Partner with Design, Engineering, and Data to run experiments and ship improvements that reduce friction, improve conversion, and increase adoption.

  • Make the value of Jobber Payments clear throughout the customer journey, especially in the moments that drive activation and first payment.

  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to understand customer behavior and make better product decisions.

  • Collaborate with partners across Risk, Payments Operations, Marketing, Sales, and GTM to create scalable, compliant, and effective paths to growth.

  • Balance short-term experimentation with long-term product strategy to drive durable growth and stronger customer outcomes.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager owning a customer-facing product area with clear business accountability and a track record of driving measurable outcomes.

  • Experience working on growth, onboarding, monetization, or funnel optimization, ideally in fintech, payments, SaaS, or platform businesses.

  • Strong product sense and analytical rigor. You know how to use data to identify opportunities, size impact, evaluate results, and turn insights into strategy.

  • Hands-on experience running experiments and learning quickly. You’re comfortable using testing and iteration to improve outcomes.

  • A scrappy, resourceful mindset and the ability to make progress in ambiguous spaces, work through constraints, and focus on what matters most.

  • The ability to connect customer problems to business outcomes and turn both into clear product strategy and prioritization.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align stakeholders around goals, trade-offs, and outcomes.

  • Comfort operating in a high-visibility area where customer experience, revenue, operational realities, and technical constraints all matter, along with a high bar for ownership, effectiveness, and follow-through.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in payments, fintech, billing, checkout, invoicing, or other financial workflows.

  • Experience in vertical SaaS or serving small businesses.

Location:

We believe great collaboration is intentional, and sometimes that means coming together in person to build, brainstorm, and connect. To support this, the role is open to candidates based in one of our hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo.

Compensation:

At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $145,900, a midpoint of $171,600, and a maximum salary of $197,400, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.

We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience, and against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.

Base salary is just one part of a total compensation package that will include equity rewards, annual stipends for health and wellness, retirement savings matching, and an extended health package with fully paid premiums for body and mind. Your professional growth matters to us, too! You’ll have access to a dedicated talent development program that includes career coaching and opportunities for career development.

We believe in transparency and open conversations about compensation. If you have any questions about our approach, we’re happy to discuss them throughout the hiring process!

What you can expect from Jobber:

  • A total compensation package that includes an extended health benefits package with fully paid premiums for both body and mind, matching in RRSP, TFSA or FHSA, and stock options.

  • A dedicated Talent Development team and access to coaching, learning, and leadership programs to help you grow your career, reach your goals, and unlock your full potential.

  • A unique opportunity to build, grow, and leave your impact on a $400-billion industry that has no dominant player...yet.

  • To work with a group of people who are humble, supportive, and give a sh*t about our customers.

We believe that diverse teams perform better and that fostering an inclusive work environment is a key part of growing a successful team. We welcome people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to working with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of the hiring process.
