About Ture

Ture is building an AI-native, privacy-first platform that connects job seekers, program administrators, career practitioners, and hiring organizations.

The product includes AI career agents, skills intelligence, application workflows, enterprise program administration, practitioner tooling, talent matching, integrations, analytics, and a flexible credit system.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer who can take meaningful product problems from early definition through production.

You will work across frontend, backend, data, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows. You will collaborate closely with product and design, speak directly with users when useful, and make pragmatic technical decisions that help a small team move quickly without sacrificing trust or maintainability.

This role is suited to an experienced engineer who cares as much about user experience and product outcomes as they do about architecture and code quality.

What you’ll do
  • Lead the design and implementation of major product capabilities.

  • Work across frontend, backend, APIs, data models, integrations, and infrastructure.

  • Partner with product and design to shape requirements before implementation begins.

  • Turn ambiguous customer and user problems into simple, usable product experiences.

  • Build AI-assisted workflows with appropriate evaluation, observability, safety, and human control.

  • Design systems that preserve privacy boundaries across different user and organizational roles.

  • Improve platform reliability, performance, security, and developer experience.

  • Review code and provide thoughtful technical guidance.

  • Mentor engineers and raise the quality of engineering practices.

  • Establish reusable patterns without creating unnecessary abstraction.

  • Investigate production issues and improve system observability.

  • Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions.

  • Help create a healthy, collaborative, and accountable engineering culture.

What you’ll bring
  • 7+ years of professional software-development experience.

  • Strong experience building and operating production web applications.

  • Expertise in at least one modern frontend framework and one backend technology.

  • Strong knowledge of APIs, relational data modelling, testing, and distributed-system fundamentals.

  • Experience owning projects from concept through launch and iteration.

  • Product judgment and attention to usability.

  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to make sensible tradeoffs in an early-stage environment.

  • Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.

Nice to have
  • Experience building AI or agentic product experiences.

  • Experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.

  • Experience with multi-tenant B2B SaaS systems.

  • Familiarity with enterprise authentication, integrations, and data pipelines.

  • Experience with security, privacy, or compliance-sensitive products.

  • Experience building HR, workforce, recruiting, learning, or marketplace products.

What success looks like

Within your first six months, you will have:

  • Shipped meaningful customer-facing capabilities.

  • Improved one or more foundational areas of the platform.

  • Helped the team make stronger technical and product decisions.

  • Raised engineering quality through mentorship, documentation, and practical standards.

  • Built a strong understanding of Ture’s users, architecture, and privacy model.
