Tucows Domains is the world’s largest wholesale domain registrar, responsible for maintaining the health, neutrality, and openness of an important—but largely invisible part of the Internet: the domain name system (DNS).

As part of Tucows—one of the world’s largest Internet companies—Tucows Domains has a rich history of helping make the Internet better, operating globally under the Ascio, Enom, Hover and OpenSRS brands.

We embrace a people-first philosophy that is rooted in respect, trust, and flexibility. We believe that whatever works for our employees is what works best for us. It’s also why the majority of our roles are remote-first, meaning you can work from anywhere you can connect to the Internet! Today, over one thousand people from over 20 countries are part of our team.

If this sounds exciting to you, join the herd!

The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team and shape the platform that powers everything we build, domains, DNS, control panels, and the systems that connect them.

This is a senior individual contributor role focused on both craft and ownership. You won’t just translate requirements, you’ll help define the right problems to solve. Working closely with product and engineering, you’ll bring clarity to complex operational spaces, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive solutions from early discovery through to high-quality shipped experiences.

Our platform is inherently complex, but your role is to make it usable. You’ll design workflows and interfaces that support resellers managing domains and products at scale, while ensuring consistency across brands, products, and touchpoints.

You’ll own end-to-end design for key initiatives, contribute to shared patterns and systems, and play an active role in shaping how our platform evolves over time. In partnership with the broader product and design organization, you will explore the interdependencies and intersections across our product lines understanding where the platform informs our experiences.

You will be a passionate advocate for our customers, collaborating cross-functionally to rally teams around a shared vision and ensure a consistent, thoughtful experience across all touchpoints.

What you’ll do:
  • Lead design for complex product areas, from discovery through delivery.
  • Partner with product and engineering to define problems, shape requirements, and influence product direction.
  • Translate ambiguous or evolving needs into clear user flows, interaction models, and scalable UI solutions.
  • Design workflows and interfaces for domain, DNS, and management tools used at scale.
  • Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to drive thoughtful tradeoffs.
  • Ensure high-quality execution by collaborating closely during build and validating outcomes.
  • Contribute to and evolve shared patterns, components, and platform consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the overall platform experience across products and brands.
  • Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design across all work.
About you:
  • Proven experience designing complex digital products (B2B or SaaS strongly preferred).
  • Strong foundation in UX, interaction design, and visual craft, with the ability to apply it in complex, real-world systems.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and proactively shaping direction, not just executing against specs.
  • Able to break down complex systems and design scalable, coherent solutions.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can articulate decisions and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Experience collaborating deeply with product and engineering to drive outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong judgment on when to go deep vs. move fast.
  • Proficient in Figma and modern design workflows.
  • Open to feedback and continuous iteration.
Bonus Points
  • Knowledge of domains, DNS or registrar operations.
  • Experience designing control panels, admin tooling or operational interfaces.
  • Experience contributing to shared components or design systems.
  • Exposure to multi-brand or white-label product ecosystems.
