Your role as Senior Product Designer, Client Stream

You’ll design digital experiences that make Dialogue indispensable to more than 10M Canadians — the services, products, and capabilities that help employers confidently launch programs, support their populations, and see measurable impact.

Client Stream is where product meets real-world scale:

  • Regularly shipping new offerings to millions of members (e.g., Women’s Health, Medical Second Opinion)
  • Strengthening core offerings like Primary Care / Mental Health / Employee Assistance Program
  • Owning the client experience end-to-end, including an in-house administrative portal where clients manage eligibility and access insights.
  • Driving real outcomes: helping members access care safely and quickly, while giving employers peace of mind that their employees are well taken care of

What you'll be doing

  • Do hands-on product design: Design feature-level experiences and end-to-end journeys — mapping flows, clarifying edge cases, and producing prototypes + designs developers can ship.
  • Prototype to learn fast: Use the fastest appropriate medium (Figma, interactive prototypes, or lightweight front-end code) to get ideas in front of users and teammates early, reduce ambiguity, and accelerate decisions.
  • Run agile research + experimentation: Lead pragmatic, rapid discovery within the scrum team — quick tests, scrappy prototypes, and evidence-driven iteration to find the best path fast.
  • Dream big, then make smart trade-offs: Work with your team to design the best possible experience first — then lead the conversations to make reasonable, explicit trade-offs based on real constraints (timelines, policy, operational reality).
  • Make launches feel effortless: Think through edge cases and “what ifs” so new client programs go live smoothly — with fewer surprises for members and for internal teams.

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • Excellent communication + presentation: Comfortable influencing through clear storytelling in docs, decks, walkthroughs, and stakeholder conversations (especially external partners).
  • UI/UX expertise at a senior level: 5+ years designing digital products, backed by a portfolio showing strong craft and shipped outcomes (not just artifacts).
  • Research + solution leadership: You can lead ideation, frame options, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders — from peers to senior executives, up to the CEO — and you do it pragmatically within a scrum cadence.
  • AI-native + prototype-forward: You use AI tools to move faster and raise quality — and you can turn ideas into testable prototypes quickly (in Figma and/or lightweight front-end code). You have strong judgment about when to rely on AI, and you can design for real-world AI behaviours: ambiguity, uncertainty, and graceful failure states.
  • Experience in regulated / high-trust environments (healthcare, privacy, safety, audibility, policy-driven behavior).
  • Experience with B2B2C / enterprise products where external partners shape constraints, but members still need a great experience.
  • Experience designing journeys that span member + provider perspectives (or complex services with operational workflows behind the UI).

Please note that as we serve customers across Canada, bilingualism is an asset for this position. You may be required to communicate in French and English.
