We are seeking a Senior Presales Consultant that will work closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to understand the client need and requirements and provide high quality Middle/Back Office demos to prospective clients. The Senior Presales Consultant is a trusted advisor to prospects, assisting them make optimal decisions about their IBOR solution design. The role involves the ability to effectively communicate our value proposition to senior decision makers.

As an industry expert, you will guide our prospects by conveying the power of the IBOR solutions in SimCorp Dimension from an international perspective. You will deal with aspects such as regulatory changes, globalization, and consolidation.

What you will be responsible for

You will be responsible for bridging the gap between technical expertise, industry knowledge and sales efforts, and helping potential customers understand the value and benefits of a product or solution. You will play a crucial role in the sales process by providing technical insights, demonstrating product capabilities, and offering solutions tailored to the customer's requirements.

You will be part of the presales team at SimCorp that provides technical expertise and support to potential customers, helping them understand how a product or service can meet their needs and solve their problems

  • Analyzing the prospect's workflows and requirements and translate those into SimCorp solutions.
  • Providing and review RFP answers
  • Delivering SimCorp Dimension presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts
  • Effectively communicate the benefits and value of SimCorp's solutions to prospective clients
  • Obtaining a thorough understanding of SimCorp's sales model and relevant processes
  • Maintaining knowledge of SimCorp's product and service portfolio
  • Sharing expertise in overall functionalities of the solution

What we value

  • 2-5 years relevant industry experience; IBOR experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of, or experience working with financial instruments, Collateral, Derivatives
  • Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension preferred
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Previous sales experience a plus
  • Flexibility to travel within the US and Canada as needed and upon short notice (travel requirement of approximately 30%)
  • Willingness to be in person in our Toronto office 2-3x per week as per our hybrid policy
