Role Overview

We are seeking a Technology Architect with strong enterprise networking expertise to support next generation LAN and WAN deployments in a large-scale, mission-critical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for network architecture, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, security policy development, and operational support across distributed locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with network design teams to deploy next generation LAN and WAN infrastructure.
  • Produce SD-WAN configurations including policies and templates aligned with approved network designs.
  • Develop high-level and low-level network design documentation and workbooks.
  • Configure switches, routers, and firewalls based on approved network architectures.
  • Configure and maintain dynamic routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
  • Perform physical installation of SD-WAN routers, LAN switches, and high-availability firewalls.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain firewall policies.
  • Design and configure centralized and localized traffic policies including application-aware routing.
  • Test network configurations and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies across enterprise LAN and WAN environments.
  • Deploy and maintain network configurations within inventory and configuration management repositories.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and facilities teams to support remediation activities.
  • Develop and configure cloud-based firewall logging solutions.
  • Support and maintain network environments during pilot and implementation phases.
  • Assist with network automation and configuration management initiatives using Ansible and related tools.
  • Configure Aruba ClearPass identity management solutions.
  • Install and configure out-of-band management firewalls across multiple locations.
  • Perform additional project-related duties as required.

Required Qualifications

Core Skills

  • Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) implementation, configuration, migration, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama installation, configuration, and operational support experience.
  • Strong VMware networking knowledge.
  • Expert-level IP routing and Layer 2 networking using Cisco 9000-series switches.
  • Strong VoIP and QoS implementation experience.
  • Administration experience across Windows and Unix operating systems.
  • IPv6 networking experience.

Tools & Platforms

  • Jenkins, Ansible, and API scripting for network automation.
  • Docker Containers.
  • Ansible Tower.
  • ELK / Elastiflow stacks.
  • NetBox.
  • VMware ESXi networking, virtual distributed switching, clustering, and high availability.
  • Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, and related enterprise infrastructure services.

Technical Skills

  • Strong IP networking and routing expertise including OSPF and BGP.
  • Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager implementation and configuration experience.
  • Knowledge of Palo Alto technologies, including Panorama and XDR.
  • Experience supporting highly available 24x7 mission-critical environments.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic Agile environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex networking issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Typically 7-10 years of progressive network engineering experience.

Work Arrangement

  • Onsite position.
  • Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Standard business hours.
