Position: Senior .NET Developer
Role Overview
The Software Developer is responsible for translating
business requirements and technical system specifications into high‑quality,
working, and tested applications. This role involves full lifecycle development
including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and post‑implementation
support within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate
technical system specifications into working, tested applications
- Develop
detailed programming specifications and write high‑quality code
- Perform
unit testing, debugging, and application maintenance
- Troubleshoot
and resolve technical issues during development and production use
- Provide
technical assistance for implementation, conversions, and migrations
- Collaborate
with IT professionals across all phases of the Software Development Life
Cycle (SDLC)
- Participate
in analysis, design walkthroughs, and documentation activities
- Ensure
applications meet performance, security, and accessibility standards
- Provide
post‑implementation support and resolve technical issues as required
Mandatory Qualifications
- 10+
years of experience developing n‑tier enterprise applications
- 10+
years of hands‑on experience with C# and .NET Framework (v4.6+)
- Extensive
experience with:
- C#,
ASP.NET, .NET Core, Razor, Blazor, Entity Framework
- MVC
Framework and Angular (v2+)
- Web
Services and Web APIs
- Strong
experience with Microsoft Azure App Services
- Proficiency
with MS SQL and Azure DocumentDB / Cosmos DB
- Strong
knowledge of application security and performance best practices
- Strong
client‑side web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity
with Agile development methodologies
- Experience
using CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps or similar
- Excellent
analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience
developing internet‑ready applications
- Rapid
Application Development (RAD) experience
- Knowledge
of Information Management principles
- Experience
with middleware and gateways
- Accessibility
standards knowledge (AODA, WCAG)
- UX
design and mobile‑first design principles
- Experience
with Git, Azure file storage, and AI‑assisted development tools
- Experience
integrating mass email or marketing platforms
- Public
sector or large enterprise experience
