Synopsis of the role

Reporting to the VP, Marketing and Communications, the Senior Manager, Product Marketing leads the development of the annual B2B product marketing plan, including, New Product Initiatives (NPIs), demand gen, sales enablement, insights and brand marketing, and partnership marketing initiatives. As a key leader in the Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the Consumer line of business by aligning Marketing initiatives to LOB strategic priorities to drive tangible business results, and will lead a team of product marketing professionals aligned to lines of business, providing strategic oversight and guidance for the team. 

This role requires an experienced and hands-on leader and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, combined with a passion for building and deploying innovative digital programs that deliver measurable results.

What you’ll do

  • Go-To-Market Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that positions products as industry leading and drives demand for our online and direct sales channels. Demonstrated ability to build client journeys, define target personas, craft value propositions, perform competitive analysis, monitor and analyze data and deliver multi-channel marketing programs.

  • Product Positioning, Campaigns and Messaging: Create compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audiences to accelerate the buying journey and differentiate our products in the market.

  • Team Leadership: Lead the Product Marketing team to ensure tactical and strategic marketing plans are well created, managed and executed. Foster a culture of creativity, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement, and ensure the team collaborates effectively with stakeholders. Oversee marketing strategies and briefs developed by the Product Marketing team.  

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, partnerships, consulting, marketing, finance, operations, IT to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing programs.

  • Sales Enablement: Understand Sales targets and equip our sales teams with the tools, training, and resources they need to achieve revenue targets.

  • Demand Generation: Collaborate with the Marketing team (Comms, Content, Operations) to develop and execute demand generation campaigns, content creation (email, thought leadership, web, social, webinars) and manage industry events. 

  • Metrics and Analysis: Define and track key performance metrics to measure the success of product marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions.

What experience you need

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Lead, Senior Product Marketing Manager or Digital Marketing Manager across the entire product lifecycle.

  • Track record of successfully developing and executing go to market strategies bringing new products to market to achieve revenue targets.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and interpret market data and customer insights.

  • Have knowledge of product marketing and the integration with product management, field sales, inside sales and delivery teams.

  • Possess a strong understanding of B2B lead gen, content marketing, digital marketing across web, email, social and webinar channels, communications, event management and sales enablement.

  • Experience leading a team of product marketing professionals, providing strategic oversight and guidance.

What could set you apart

  • B2B Marketing experience in the Financial Services (Insurance, Banking, Credit Card, Lending, Mortgage), Auto and/or fintech sectors.

  • Track record of launching multiple NPS=Is and marketing existing products.

  • Background or experience in Workfront, Stensul, Adobe analytics, Salesforce/Pardot.

  • Understanding of Google Cloud and digital platforms.
