As the Senior Manager, IT Procurement, as part of the Enterprise Procurement team, you will support Technology stakeholders in meeting their business goals and objectives. In partnership with business stakeholders, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, management, and performance of sourcing strategies, cost savings, cost management plans as well as complex contract negotiations.  


How you will create impact: 
  • Develop Category Plans and sourcing strategies containing a portfolio of key initiatives which deliver the IT Strategy. 
  • Deliver the key IT sourcing initiatives, achieving best value within acceptable risk and contribute to the development of the annual pipeline of IT sourcing initiatives, integrating with the financial planning process. 
  • Develop aggressive cost savings targets and deliver against cost savings targets and develop demand management strategy and vendor rationalization strategy. 
  • Draft, redline and negotiate supplier contracts within contracting standards and business objectives and rationalize the number of IT suppliers and reduce fragmentation in the spend base to simplify the supplier landscape and drive commercial efficiency. 
  • Provide support and coaching to Sourcing Managers within the Technology Sourcing teams and monitor vendor performance. 
  • Build and enhance relationships with strategic IT suppliers along with the vendor and service delivery management teams to deliver high levels of service whilst maintaining best-in-class commercial terms and conditions. 
  • Coach and develop your team, recruit, and select talent, manage, and reward performance, and foster an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives.

To join our team:  
  • You have 6-10 years of experience in the IT Procurement field and have 5+ years in a leadership role. 
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Having an MBA is considered an asset. 
  • You have experience in strategic sourcing especially IT Category management and supporting IT Cost management programs. 
  • You have experience in negotiating Technology (especially software) agreements and providing input during selecting and implementing contract management systems. 
  • You have proven track record of cost management and cost savings strategy creation and negotiating complex technology agreements.

Salary information

“Expected salary/hourly range $114,021 - $164,000+” (min-max, full range) 

Salary placement

“The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.” 

Incentive/Variable pay 

“Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.”
