The Job: Senior Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure

As the Senior Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure, you will be a hands-on engineering leader responsible for building and implementing enterprise IT infrastructure. Reporting to the Director, IT Infrastructure, you will play a critical role in modernizing the organization’s technology footprint across both on-premises and AWS environments. This position requires a strong balance of deep technical execution and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions that support business growth in a regulated financial environment.

What You’ll Do

Infrastructure Design & Implementation

  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise infrastructure solutions that align with business and architectural goals.

  • Plan and execute infrastructure build-outs across on-premise and AWS environments, including provisioning, configuration, and automation.

  • Review and apply best practices across Windows Server and hybrid infrastructures, integrating cloud-native patterns where appropriate.

Operations & Lifecycle Management

  • Coordinate vendor support for hardware/software lifecycle management, upgrades, and optimization.

  • Manage VDI environments, storage provisioning, monitoring, and backup strategies.

  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including automation and failover testing.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide technical direction to systems administrators, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure staff.

  • Serve as escalation point for infrastructure build issues, outages, or blockers across compute, storage, and networking.

  • Partner with IT Operations and Service Desk to ensure seamless transition of new infrastructure into ongoing support.

Cloud & Automation

  • Design, implement, and maintain resilient AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling).

  • Apply scripting and automation practices (PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation) to increase scalability and efficiency.

What You’ll Bring to the Table
  • Proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain high-performance infrastructure.

  • Strong skills in server provisioning, scripting, and automation.

  • Expert knowledge of storage and backup technologies, configuration, and lifecycle management.

  • Solid understanding of infrastructure project lifecycles and SDLC integration.

  • Ability to interpret business/application requirements into robust technical infrastructure designs.

  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Education + Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • AWS, ITIL, PMP, or MCSE certifications are an asset.

  • 8+ years of IT infrastructure engineering, virtualization, and systems design experience.

  • Extensive expertise with VMware, Nutanix, Windows Servers, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

  • Hands-on scripting experience (PowerShell, SCCM, automation frameworks).

  • Proven track record in server deployments, storage provisioning, and enterprise software integration.

  • Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure models and scalable architecture patterns.

If you’re ready to lead infrastructure modernization and deliver high-impact solutions in a growing financial services environment, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and help us shape the future of enterprise infrastructure.
