We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy to join our growing team. 

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of commercial strategy, partnering with Product, Sales, and Finance to identify opportunities, generate data-driven insights, and drive revenue growth across Marketplace and Software business units. You will translate complex financial and market data into clear strategic direction, build business cases, and deliver executive-ready recommendations that influence senior leadership. 

This role requires a highly analytical, strategic leader who can operate in a fast-paced environment, drive initiatives from concept to execution, align stakeholders, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The position reports to the Head of Pricing and Commercial Strategy.  

What you’ll do 

  • Lead the development and execution of commercial strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth, expand market presence, and unlock monetization opportunities across the Marketplace and Software business units 
  • Identify, prioritize, and evaluate strategic growth opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling, translating insights into actionable recommendations that inform leadership decision-making 
  • Own the development of robust business cases and strategic recommendations that support new initiatives, product monetization opportunities, and investment decisions 
  • Leverage commercial performance data, customer insights, and market trends to identify opportunities to optimize pricing, packaging, cross-sell strategies, and overall revenue performance 
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance leadership to align commercial strategy with product roadmaps, go-to-market plans, and broader business objectives, ensuring coordinated execution across teams

What you’ll need 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree considered an asset.  
  • 3–6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate/commercial strategy roles, preferably within digital, marketplace, SaaS, or technology-driven environments.  
  • Strong strategic and financial acumen, including experience in financial modeling, business case development, revenue forecasting, and ROI analysis to support data-driven decision-making.  
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to structure complex analyses and deliver clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations.  
  • Experience working with large datasets and leveraging analytical tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to generate actionable commercial and customer insights.  
  • Proven ability to evaluate and support growth initiatives such as pricing and packaging optimization, product monetization, market expansion, and cross-sell/upsell strategies.  
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence senior leaders, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment

The base salary range for this position is CAD $120k – $160k. 

This range reflects the expected compensation at the time of posting. The final offer may vary and can be higher based on relevant skills, experience, location, and market conditions. Based on the role, the total rewards package may also include benefits, bonus, and other employee offerings.
