About the team

You'll be the architect of Turo's Canadian brand programs. Transform the way millions of Canadians think about car rentals while building Turo into a beloved household name. You’ll be responsible for driving brand awareness, consideration, and adoption from coast to coast. This role will own end-to-end brand execution and ensure brand investment translates into measurable marketplace outcomes. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong strategic thinking, creative judgment, and analytical rigour.


What you will do
  • Own and improve Canada's brand strategy across all channels. You’ll partner closely with the global brand team to craft compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with Canadian travelers.

  • Own and report on Canadian brand health metrics, set targets, and deploy budget across brand channels to maximize impact.

  • Partner with media agencies to drive high-impact buys across TV, digital, out-of-home, social, and audio to amplify Turo's presence and ensure every dollar drives maximum reach.

  • Architect breakthrough, integrated campaigns that capture attention and drive measurable business results. Own everything from strategy to launch; setting clear objectives, driving creative execution, allocating budgets across channels, and measuring impact.

  • Capitalize on cultural moments and seasonal trends to create buzz-worthy campaigns that embed Turo into Canadian conversations.

  • Manage creative workflows and creative output while coordinating internal and external creative teams & freelancers. Work closely with the global marketing team to ensure brand consistency and local relevancy

Your profile
  • At least 8+ years of experience in brand marketing. You have 4+ years in-house driving brand channels in a customer-facing B2C brand.

  • Proven track record managing multi-million dollar brand budgets

  • High creative judgment with experience leading agencies and campaigns

  • Proven experience building campaigns that are built on deep customer insights and drive meaningful business results 

  • A natural flair for the unique, the buzz-worthy and the culturally relevant 

  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners

  • Builder mindset, and you are comfortable creating structure, not just operating within it

Highly valued experience
  • High-growth startup experience; marketing an app 

  • Experience in the travel industry/travel marketing 

  • Tech-enabled marketplace experience

  • Bilingual (English and French)

For this role, the target base salary range in Toronto is $115,000 - $145,000 CAD annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We encourage you to talk with your recruiter to learn more about the total compensation and benefits available for this role.
Turo highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
