That is why we have invested heavily in the expertise and capacity of our Practice Management Team, which we believe is best-in-class.  Our team is dedicated to the coaching and development of Advisors, leaders and support teams in TD Wealth's Advice Businesses.

The Role: The Senior Manager, Advisor Development and Leadership Coaching, is accountable for delivering impactful coaching programs that elevate advisor proficiency, enable leaders to coach effectively, and ultimately drive growth, client experience, and scalability in high-net-worth practices.

This individual will play a dual role:

1. Lead the Developing Investment Advisor (DIA) program, supporting advisors and their branch managers.

2. Coach senior leaders across the wealth business, equipping them with tools and strategies to develop high-performing teams and client-centric practices.

  • The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in wealth management, proven coaching and facilitation skills, and a strong ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders.

Accountabilities

Advisor Development Program

  • Manage TD Wealth's Developing Investment Advisor (DIA) program

  • Provide coaching to developing advisors and their Branch Managers in the spaces of practice growth, business development, and financial planning capabilities

Leadership Coaching Across Wealth

  • Provide coaching and development to leaders across Financial Planning, Private Investment Advice, and Private Banking

  • Partner with business heads to identify leadership capability gaps and deliver targeted coaching interventions

  • Facilitate group sessions and leadership roundtables to strengthen coaching, performance management, and practice-building skills

  • Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, contributing insights from the field to refine strategy and execution

Required Capabilities

  • Proven success leading large-scale programs / initiatives

  • Demonstrated success in coaching advisors and leaders, ideally within HNW client segments

  • Strong facilitation skills with experience leading workshops, group sessions, and executive discussions

  • Excellent understanding of practice management disciplines

Required experience & Education

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in wealth management (financial planning, private investment advice, private banking, or related fields)

  • Coaching certification (e.g., ICF) considered an asset but not required.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced designation (CFP, CFA, MBA, or similar) preferred.
