Salary range (but not limited to):
94,200 - 115,200Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst, Data and Analytics to join our growing team!
What you'll do here:
- Analyze business needs to define IT solutions.
- Facilitate/participate in business requirements workshops to specify IT solutions.
- Perform impact analyses and effort estimates to recommend, obtain approval for, and document the IT solution using effective methods, interacting with both business users and the IT project team.
- Support solution development and technical analyses.
- Support quality assurance activities and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support the Product Manager in defining and prioritizing the product backlog.
- Document user stories so they are clearly understood by designers and the QA team.
- Identify and communicate impacts on business processes to support change management in business units using a train-the-trainer approach.
- Build and maintain functional documentation that is robust, accurate, and accessible to all business stakeholders.

What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with Snowflake (cloud) databases.
- Strong experience with Oracle databases.
- Experience in data integration (data warehouse and data mart).
- Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) techniques.
- Strong experience with SQL queries.
- Experience with data modeling approaches, star schemas, and relational models.
- Experience with AI tools such as Cortex Code, Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.
- Project experience using Scrum methodology.
- Experience and knowledge in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
