What will you work on?
The Senior Internal Auditor will help develop and deliver on a global internal audit plan for the company, perform testing required due to a SAP system upgrade, as well as support the certification of internal controls over financial reporting (NI 52-109) at Spin Master.
How will you create impact?
- Critically evaluate and optimize significant IT management and operational processes and system implementation practices ;
- Bring your experience with ERP system implementation projects and/or audits to the Internal Audit team.
- Identify the risks to the integrity of the Company’s financial statements as well as risks to the achievement of the company’s strategic priorities and objectives and identify the related controls.
- Identify, document, and communicate to respective process owners the areas of process improvements, and work collaboratively with process owners to support those improvements;
- Effectively design and perform audit tests of controls;
- Coordinate with external audit regarding process documentation, testing procedures, audit requests, and audit findings to achieve audit efficiencies;
- Assist the leadership of the Internal Audit function with quarterly reporting to the Audit Committee and frequent status updates to executive business owners and members of management;
- Work with process and project owners on various initiatives or projects within the company to represent the risk and control perspective.
What are your skills and experience?
- A minimum of three years of progressive experience in IT audit with experience working on system implementation projects or audits
- A professional designation in the area (CPA, , CIA, CRISC, or CISA), or pursing an audit designation is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience using data analytics or audit automation tools to streamline testing procedures and reduce repetitive tasks is a strong asset.
- SAP S/4HANA experience is an asset.
- A strong knowledge of internal auditing and control standards, IT management processes and operations and the related controls relevant to ICFR, and strong knowledge of system implementation processes and related project management.
- Knowledge of COSO/COBIT/ITIL and IT General Controls and risk-based audit methodology.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $80,000 to $100,000 per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master ltd. is a multi-provincial employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other provinces.
