The HRIS team is actively seeking a HRIS Functional Analyst to join its ranks. As part of the development of our HRIS, we are always looking to improve and simplify the user experience for all stakeholders in our company (employees, managers, directors, HR generalists, etc.).
Reporting to the HRIS manager, you will collaborate on Time Tracking and Absence Management features within our Payroll and Workkforce Management information system: Dayforce.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in defining objectives, scope, timelines, phases, milestones and establish project budgets/continuous improvements for HR platforms.
- Develop project plans (i.e., detailed plan, milestones and work breakdown structures) and assign tasks to resources to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
- Identify opportunities and areas for business process improvement to create value and increase efficiency within the technology tools.
- Identify, analyze and validate stakeholder and user requirements.
- Own functional documentation including, but not limited to, requirements documents, functional specifications, business process documentation, etc.
- Lead the configuration of HR systems and the design of business processes, as well as the management of security roles.
- Create and maintain process flow, configuration, operations and user documentation in collaboration with key resources within the organization.
- Identify and document integration requirements for applications within the HR ecosystem.
- Monitor new features released by Dayforceand plan appropriate adoption and deployment plans.
- Maintain the integrity and reliability of the current systems by providing level 2/3 support.
- Identify the root cause of data flow issues, recommend and configure updates and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with existing security policies regarding data integrity, confidentiality and availability
Qualifications:
- 3 to 10 years of experience as a Business or Functional Analyst
- 3 years of experience as a Business or Functional Analyst in HR IS
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, HR or related field
- Experience with Dayforce (Time Tracking, Scheduling and Absence modules)
- PMI PBA certification, an asset
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Ability to work with various priorities and maintain tight deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Ability to influence and negotiate
- Very comfortable and autonomous in a changing environment
- Organizational skills, attention to detail and good judgment are required
