Why CANImmunize?

We are a small, tight-meshed team looking to add another inspiring engineer who will move our core software platform forward. We are a small, egoless team that is always looking for ways to improve the quality of our work.

At CANImmunize, you'll see and feel the immediate impact of your contributions. Our technology is already making a difference in the health of Canadians, and digital immunization solutions have never been more critical. You'll work alongside passionate and caring people, gain entrepreneurial skills, and thrive in a dynamic business model with tremendous individual and collective potential.

Your Contribution as a Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing features that will be used by the public and health professionals. You will be collaborating with product people to design the best solution, developing it with the support of other engineers, and ensuring it is completed with quality. You will be involved in challenging and interesting work, making technology decisions, including when to tackle technical debt and deep-level optimizations, and pushing forward your vision for how the team works. We are looking for someone who is strongly opinionated, has a leader mindset, does not hesitate to share their ideas with others, and is willing to constantly learn and improve themselves. As you grow in the role there may be opportunities to lead others on larger implementations. You will be expected to be on call in a rotation. You will work closely with product leaders to define the roadmap, provide estimates, and execute projects to bring value to our customers.

We also developed eConsent, a groundbreaking electronic consent solution for school-based immunization programs.

By delivering best-in-class digital solutions, we aim to empower healthcare providers, streamline immunization practices, and ultimately improve public health across Canada. Joining CANImmunize means being part of a team dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of Canadians.

As a key member of our team, you'll lead the design and development of new features, with the opportunity to influence the technical direction of our products and team. Your voice and ideas will play an integral role in shaping how we innovate and grow. By helping public health organizations run effective immunization programs, you'll bring greater efficiency to their operations while increasing access, uptake, and trust in vaccines. You'll also empower Canadians to make informed decisions about their health by providing access to their data and credible vaccine information.
