Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Total Potential Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing revenues, as well as overseeing the acquisition, tracking, and disposal of fixed assets ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles, including IFRS. Familiarity with accounting software and advanced Excel skills are considered assets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries related to revenue recognition and fixed asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
Maintaining fixed asset records, ensuring proper classification, and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue and fixed asset variance analysis and financial statement note disclosure to support accurate financial reporting.
Prepare monthly reconciliations of revenue, accounts receivable and fixed asset accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Assist with internal and external audit requests related to revenue accounts receivable and fixed assets, preparing schedules and documentation as needed.
Identify opportunities to streamline revenue, accounts receivable and fixed asset accounting processes for greater efficiency and control.
Perform periodic inventory count of fixed assets.
Other duties, tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and/or Finance/Accounting Designation (or equivalent work experience) preferred (minimum 5 years working experience).
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills in a team setting
Commitment to personal growth and development.
Must be pro-active and have a positive attitude.
Good organization and leadership skills.
In depth understanding of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience with PeopleSoft and or Workday accounting software would be an asset.
