Role Description

As the Senior Director of Product Marketing at Dropbox, you will be responsible for defining and authoring the go-to-market strategy for Dropbox's Core portfolio, which includes Dropbox, Dropbox DocSend, Dropbox Sign (including API and Fax), and Dropbox FormSwift. You will also collaborate closely with the Dropbox Dash GTM teams and partner with Product, Growth, and Campaigns teams. You will play a crucial role in areas such as strategic planning, enhancing sales productivity, and driving revenue growth. Your impact will include leading a talented team of Product Marketing Managers, ensuring alignment of sales and marketing efforts, and fostering innovation. Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the multi-year vision for the GTM strategy of Dropbox’s Core portfolio, ensuring alignment with company objectives and pioneering new market opportunities
  • Lead and mentor a team of senior product marketing managers and individual contributors, fostering a culture of integrity, excellence, and innovation
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends, using insights to inform product positioning and messaging
  • Develop clear, compelling, and differentiated product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences
  • Develop and maintain detailed buyer personas and customer journey maps
  • Collaborate closely with campaign managers to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, and adoption
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and GTM strategies, using data-driven insights to optimize outcomes and directly contribute to revenue growth
  • Partner with channel owners to identify optimization opportunities and ensure marketing activities are effective and efficient
  • Represent Dropbox at industry events and conferences, developing thought leadership content that establishes Dropbox as a market leader and engaging with key customers and partners

Requirements

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in product marketing, preferably within the SaaS industry
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and achieve business goals
  • Deep understanding of the sales process, customer behavior, and market trends
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to inspire and develop top talent in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong marketing competencies across strategic planning, content creation, sales enablement, and performance reporting
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Productivity, Customer Success, and Marketing Operations teams
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated capabilities in interpreting data and qualitative research
  • Experience leading high-performing teams and managing large marketing budgets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in SaaS productivity tools or related product categories, with a strong understanding of both sales-assisted and product-led growth models
  • Master’s degree/MBA

Compensation

Canada Pay Range

$246,500$333,500 CAD
