What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Director, Software Configuration Management & Change Planning, as a Senior DevOps Consultant you will provide technical leadership in the migration of DevOps pipelines to GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC), the integration of DevOps pipelines with ServiceNow, and the implementation of new security tools. You will collaborate with internal teams and ensure the seamless implementation of new tools and processes, leveraging your advanced expertise to drive solutions.

  • Lead the migration of DevOps pipelines for 17 applications to GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC).
  • Spearhead the integration of CI/CD pipelines with ServiceNow to automate ticketing, incident management, and IT service management workflows.
  • Lead the migration from legacy security tools to new tools (HashiCorp Vault, Snyk, Fortify, BlackDuck).
  • Work closely with developers, Project Managers and the DevOps team to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Develop and enhance DevOps processes, focusing on automation, scalability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across the DevOps pipeline and identify long-term solutions.
  • Contribute to and improve documentation for DevOps processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce DevOps pipelines for CI/CD
  • Manage Salesforce metadata, version control
  • Ensure best practices in Salesforce change management while integrating with ServiceNow.
  • Automate deployments and manage release cycles across Salesforce orgs (Production, UAT, Sandbox, Development).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce deployment issues, conflicts, and rollback scenarios.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Strategic Development & Execution: Perform and coordinate complex solution design activities. Understand the business requirements and translate them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap. Design and document the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces and integrations. Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet both business objectives and the goal of operational efficiency. 

  • Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives. Lead multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices and pushing forward continuous improvements

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the solution lead and interface with the project teams by driving and moderating design review sessions to walk stakeholders through and ensure that the overall design aligns with business requirements as well as architectural directions. Support and mentor junior designers and developers through knowledge sharing, collaboration and effective problem solving

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate 8-10+ years’ experience in. designing, developing, implementing and supporting DevOps expertise in most of the following: Databases (Oracle, SQL Server), Cloud (Azure, AWS), ETL (Informatica, SSIS), and Tools (Tools: source control/issue management: Git, TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps).

  • You have 5+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, Build & Release Management, or CI/CD for Salesforce.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce metadata API, SFDX (Salesforce DX), and Salesforce CLI.
  • You embrace and champion change. You are passionate about being on top of technology trends. You'll continuously evolve your thinking and the way you work in order to deliver your best.

  • You have a degree/diploma: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Technical discipline.
