Senior Demand Planner

What will you work on?
As the Senior Demand Planner, you will be responsible for forecasting product demand for a key customer team. Leveraging input from Retail, Marketing, and Analytics, you will be a critical part of our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring forecast accuracy and alignment across the business.
How will you create impact?

• Lead Demand Debrief reviews with cross-functional teams to deliver an unbiased, unconstrained view of demand for the global S&OP process.

• Identify and frame risks, opportunities, and critical business decisions, escalating as needed through the S&OP process.

• Analyze weekly retail sales (POS) and inventory levels, providing recommendations to optimize sales and inventory.

• Use POS and inventory data to proactively minimize internal supply chain liabilities.

• Maintain and leverage ladder plans to ensure forecasts align with account plans and retail performance.

• Evaluate and measure forecast accuracy and bias, driving corrective actions to improve results.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the forecasting process.

What are your skills and experience?

• A degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related discipline.

• Previous experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain operations, preferably in consumer products.

• Experience with and exposure to S&OP processes and procedures.

• Proficiency in forecasting or supply planning applications (e.g., SAP, APO, IBP) is required.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario s $95,000 to $105,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
