ROLE OVERVIEW
This isn’t a traditional team, and you’re not a traditional thinker. As the Kitchen’s Senior Copywriter you’re the heart of the team’s agile ideas engine. You bring wide-ranging experience to the table to deliver unique thinking that isn’t bound by the expected or by the limits of what’s been done on social before. Your understanding of social and digital marketing, as well as a diverse range of mediums from traditional to experiential, means that you have a wide lens for solving problems, breaking down norms, and delivering ideas that are interesting and disruptive enough to outperform expectations.

Creative Ideation
- Recognizes and develops great ideas, pushing them forward to fuel the team’s creative process
- Leads and supports the team to create idea-driven, world-class creative that earns attention and gets talked about online and in the media

- Leads by example to inspire the creative team
- Works with designers, producers, social and community managers, and strategists to foster collaboration
- Pushes the team to be agile, generating ideas quickly and reactively

- Creates cutting-edge ideas

- Works as one integrated team with brand partners
- Communicates directly with clients and partners to overcome challenges

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a creative ideation role with a strong portfolio
- Experience across social, digital, content, copywriting, and campaign work
- Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to communicate big ideas clearly
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Willingness to dive into details when needed
- Ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities
- Experience generating a high volume of ideas quickly
- Experience mentoring junior creatives
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building ideas from insight
- Experimental mindset with new platforms, technologies, and trends
- Strong curiosity and passion for online culture
- Personal passion for food and food marketing

PAY TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT (BASE SALARY ONLY)
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $95,000-$115,000 . Individual compensation within this range is determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, level of responsibility, internal equity, and business needs. This range represents the expected base salary for this role and does not include other elements of The Kitchen’s total rewards program.
