Reporting to the Principal, Practice Leader, Sales and Use Tax and working as part of the Canadian Sales and Use Tax team (Transaction Tax), the Tax Services Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to work with the Recovery Team to process savings reports, invoicing, update client record information, and file and administer all refund claims. Other duties include, update and maintain reporting File Logs, maintain electronic client directories, update and maintain Salesforce records for Sales Tax Reviews, and assisting with scheduling reminder letters.

People:
- Create a positive team member experience.
Client:
- Maintains and controls all aspects of client data sheets.
Value:
- Creates tax billings and credit notes with accuracy.
- Closes tax files and prepares reports.
- Conducts monthly claim reconciliations, billing and claim reports, and client status change reports.
- Sends Refund claims on a weekly basis or as needed.
- Responsible for claims maintenance, control, and follow-up with the tax department.
- Assist Principal group with Ryan.com initiatives and updates
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High-school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) is required along with a minimum of four years of related administrative experience. Experience with financial services is a definite asset.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word and Excel, and intermediate knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet navigation and research.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job requires no supervisory responsibilities.

- Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
- Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm; interface with clients and external vendors as necessary.
