About the Role

Clari is looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to be a key member of the Legal team and influential across all aspects of business partnership with Sales, Deal Desk and Procurement. This role will be the owner of numerous foundational aspects of our growing Legal department in service of our goal to scale efficiently and effectively. 


This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage, review and negotiate to close a variety of complex commercial agreements, including sales contracts, inbound procurement vendor contracts, master services agreements, NDAs, terms of service, statements of work, and order forms
  • Identify contractual risks and provide creative, business-oriented legal advice
  • Work cross-functionally with internal business teams, including Deal Desk, Sales, Procurement, Product and Finance teams to ensure that contractual terms meet business objectives and comply with legal standards and company policies
  • Lead CLM selection, adoption and implementation

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in redlining and negotiating SaaS, software licensing and commercial contracts, including master subscription agreements, NDAs and vendor contracts
  • Excellent legal and contract negotiation skills and experience negotiating with enterprise customers
  • Smart, independent thinking with an adaptive and flexible mindset
  • Detail-oriented and enjoy end-to-end project management in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to understand complex contractual issues, assess risk, and provide pragmatic, business-based recommendations to all levels of management
  • Experience working with enterprise level Sales teams to meet end of quarter deadlines
  • Experience with cloud-based business models and their contracting processes
  • Experience implementing and running a CLM system for a Legal team
  • Some knowledge/experience working with AI systems and data privacy is a plus

    Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to specific work location, skill set, depth of experience, education and certifications.


    The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $157,000. The compensation package for this position also includes stock options and company-paid benefits, including well-being and professional development stipends.
