What you’ll be doing

The purpose of the Risk Data Management Office (RDMO) is to promote and improve the value of risk data as a strategic asset within Risk Management. The Governance and Risk Data Integration team is responsible for the management of the governance and oversight framework across Risk Management. The team is also responsible for providing project and data solutions for data governance regulatory reporting and analytics risk systems within RDMO’s purview. As a key member of the RDMO, the Senior Consultant Risk Analytics will support the Director in leading projects related to capability building across applications within Risk Management to enable governance and oversight tool capabilities of risk data management across Risk Management. The Senior Risk Analyst will also develop KPI and data quality & governance reporting for Risk Management data governance.

You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How you’ll succeed

  • Project management – Utilizing project management best practices to manage and/or engage teams to execute and support risk data management initiatives and capabilities. Plan, track, and assess final impacts.

  • Data analysis – You’ll provide data, insights, analysis and expertise in all aspects of data management and data quality to help our clients make better decisions leveraging analytical tools and techniques. Own the end-to-end analysis including requirement gathering, data transformation, establishing thorough documentation and  building controls related to the integrity of risk data.

  • Focus on Innovation and simplification - You’ll strive for continual development of analytics knowledge and expertise. Contribute to system and governance process enhancements targeting key  operational pain points with focus on issue resolution and efficient resource utilization.

  • Relationship management – Work with all areas of the business to ensure data quality and integrity and supports execution of compliance to the enterprise-wide risk data policies, standards and procedures within tools and data visualization.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience supporting enterprise wide data governance programs including measuring and monitoring data quality, recommending improvements in data management processes to ensure user and regulatory requirements are met.

  • You have experience using Tableau and/or Power BI for reporting purposes, and Jira for planning and tracking.  

  • You are an excellent communicator that can demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. You have experience presenting to senior leaders.

  • You are organized and structured in your thinking, and can manage multiple deliverables and tasks at a time.

  • You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information. You communicate detailed information in a meaningful way.
