    • Help build wrappers, modules to improve IaC workflows.
    • Ensure consistent and compliant deployments across environments.

    Cloud Enablement

    • Act as a trusted advisor for internal engineering teams, offering guidance on cloud best practices, multi-cloud patterns, workload migration, and architectural decisions.
    • Participate in architecture reviews and technical workshops supporting both Azure and AWS solutions.
    • Connect cloud services to create a seamless developer experience.

    Security, Governance & Compliance

    • Collaborate with cybersecurity, and compliance teams to conduct cloud service reviews, assessments.
    • Ensure all cloud workloads adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

    Operations & Optimization

    • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues across Azure and AWS environments.
    • Troubleshoot and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, security scanning, and deployments.
    • Optimize containerized environments (AKS, ECS/EKS) for performance, resilience, and cost efficiency.
    • Review and assist with implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, backups, and operational runbooks for all workloads.
    • Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management for container and cloud services.
    • Drive cloud services end-to-end with autonomy, from design to deployment to ongoing improvement.

    Required Qualifications

    • 5–7+ years of hands‑on experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure, primarily in Azure, with working experience in AWS.
    • Strong IaC development experience using Bicep, CDK, CDKTF and Terraform (multi‑cloud).
    • Solid understanding of compute, storage, networking, identity, and security concepts across Azure and AWS.
    • Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions; AWS Code Pipeline an asset).
    • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
    • Practical experience with cloud security and operational best practices.
    • Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (AKS, EKS, ECS, ACR, ECR).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Azure certifications such as AZ‑104, AZ‑305, or AZ‑400.
    • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate) are a strong asset.
    • Experience in enterprise or regulated environments with multi‑cloud governance frameworks.
    • Familiarity with FinOps practices across Azure and AWS.

    Core Competencies

    • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
