We're looking for a Senior Associate who is ready to own social media programs while continuing to develop their expertise. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who understands how agency and client business runs, with a proven track record in social media strategy and execution. You will be applying your understanding of social platforms, multimedia content creation, and best practices to everyday work while being proactive and thoughtful with deliverables.
Our ideal candidate has experience working in an agency environment, can facilitate social media integration with PR activities, meeting and exceeding business objectives and drive results. We need someone who can own concise and effective communication with external contacts while developing strong client relationships.
You are a problem solver who:
- Takes ownership and holds yourself accountable for social media programs and campaigns
- Creates compelling visual content using industry-standard design tools
- Demonstrates curiosity and resourcefulness to improve skills and find new efficiencies
- Has a working knowledge of social media tools and analytics platforms
- Has multi-channel expertise across key social media properties including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Assumes responsibility for the quality of your work
- Processes, prioritizes and delivers solutions while remaining flexible and proactive
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day social media management across multiple client accounts
- Develop and maintain content calendars
- Create engaging visual content and motion graphics for social platforms
- Design and produce social-first content that drives engagement
- Lead community management efforts and provide guidance to junior team members
- Support paid social campaigns across platforms
- Create basic media, social and influencer plans with direction
- Monitor analytics and optimize performance
- Contribute strategic recommendations for social programs
- Support influencer marketing programs from identification through execution
- Build relationships with client counterparts and internal teams
- Write and edit social content that aligns with brand voice
- Stay current on platform updates and emerging trends
- Proactively identify opportunities and potential issues
- Live and breathe social media and are actively using multiple platforms with clients and personally
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of social media experience in agency or brand-side role
- Demonstrated expertise across major social platforms
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically:
- Photoshop for image editing and creation
- After Effects for motion graphics and animations
- Experience creating both static and motion content for social platforms
- Experience with paid social advertising
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights
- Project management capabilities
- Client service mindset
- Collaborative team player attitude
- Portfolio demonstrating social media creative work required
