What you’ll do:

The Senior Associate Manager, Product Development will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction for our insurance, credit card, and retail banking lines of business. This role involves analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting long-term strategic planning.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.

  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and executing strategic plans that drive growth and innovation across our insurance, credit card, and retail banking businesses.

  • Opportunity Identification: Identify new business opportunities and potential areas for expansion within existing markets.

  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to ensure strategic alignment.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and assess the performance of strategic initiatives and provide insights for continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

 

What you bring:

  • 5-10 years of experience in product strategy or strategic planning within the financial services industry(Strongly preferred)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to take data, identify insights, and influence key stakeholder decisions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity.

  • Knowledge of the insurance, credit card, and retail banking sectors.

Broadband Salary Range: 64,000.00 - 106,000.00 CAD Annual

Our typical hiring range is between 65,000.00 - 80,000.00 CAD per annum. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements
