Job Description
- Finance lead for HRS & Office Services teams.
- Lead and execute month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and cost centre reporting.
- Prepare variance analysis and commentary comparing actuals to budget and forecast
- Present financial results and insights to business groups, ensuring clarity and alignment with operational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop monthly financial forecasts and support the annual budgeting process for both expense and capital planning.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlight trends and changes monthly.
- Support the Biannual allocation model process.
- Responsible for preparing intercompany billings and month end intercompany journal entries.
- Respond to financial requests from senior management and perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Three to Four (3-4) years of progressive work experience
- Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills, and the willingness to always support the team.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Able to translate financial terms into business vocabulary.
- Highly organized and able to work in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment, as well as adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and proactive, with respect to both managing workload and professional development.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an asset.
