Senior Analyst, Production Solutions. Ricoh Graphic Communications

Position Profile:

The Senior Analyst, Production Solutions for Cut Sheet and Wide Format is the technical lead for both pre and post sales implementation of Ricoh's solutions portfolio. This is an expert level position which requires deep expertise in integrated solutions including hardware, enablement and standalone software and services. Additionally, this individual will be a subject matter expert in specific areas of the business such as cut sheet, colour management and other specialized disciplines. They will be engaged early in a sales cycle to assess the customer's workflow goals, demonstrate solutions, provide basic project management of implementations, and training of customers. The primary focus of this role is to architect integrated hardware and software solutions that helps improve a customer's workflow, reduces cost and drives customer satisfaction during solution implementation. The Senior Analyst would also support unit sales through technical consulting activities and presenting solutions of diverse scopes. This would be achieved through proof-of-concept, Statement of Works leading to solution implementation. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

PRE-SALES (50%)

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to all Ricoh Graphic Communications (RGC) sales reps in your assigned territory or virtually as needed
  • Support sales reps with the achievement of hardware (HW) and software (SW) revenue plans
  • Work with local Production Print Specialists by supporting demonstrations of proposed solutions that could include a mix of hardware and software offerings.
  • Review Orders (final) to ensure accurate HW and SW configurations
  • Be the lead for all solution assurance activities involved for HW and SW sales, with sales team assistance
  • Attend all relevant sales meetings in the field
  • Identify and grow business opportunities around our subject matter expert (SME) focus areas

POST-SALES (50%)

  • Implement integrated solutions across the RGC portfolio hardware or software (Core Services)
  • Provide disciplined leadership of professional services deliveries using SOW templates when needed
  • Be an advocate for the customer to ensure complete satisfaction and acceptance

Communications

  • Responsible for ongoing presales, technical, and business skill development
  • Attend technical training as required and scheduled
  • Become a subject matter expert in one for core SME portfolios

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications):

Typically Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • G7 and Fiery Expert certification
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in printing, pre-sales and post-sales services and solutions implementation in environments and/or industry related experience
  • Experience in digital cut sheet, wide format printing, flat bed and software applications
  • Strong face to face customer advisory and relationship skills
  • Must complete assigned Project Management Courses from Ricoh Learning Institute within the first year of employment

Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license, light travel required
