About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Analytics to join our Analytics team for a 1 year contract and partner closely with business leaders to solve complex problems through data. This role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to translate data into clear insights and business recommendations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large datasets in a data lake environment, building dashboards for business performance, and owning data quality for their subject areas. A Senior Analyst is required to independently manage growing demand for ad hoc analytics, data modeling, and an expanding portfolio of dashboards and reporting, improving the speed and quality of insights for business and regulatory stakeholders.

  • Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from a data lake.
  • Perform deep data analysis to answer business questions and uncover actionable insights.
  • Translate analysis into clear recommendations that support decision-making.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports for business performance and reporting using Power BI and/or Amazon QuickSight.
  • Partner with business teams including Product, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, and IT to understand requirements and deliver insights.
  • Own data quality for assigned datasets and act as a data steward.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering to maintain robust data pipelines, metadata, and data dictionaries.
  • Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What we’re looking for:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data analysis.
  • Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, and visualization.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Amazon QuickSight.
  • Proven ability to solve ambiguous business problems using data.
  • Strong data storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced experience with SQL and/or Python, and BI tools such as Power BI and/or Amazon QuickSight; experience with Alteryx is an asset.
  • Strong ability in data storytelling, translating complex analysis into clear insights for business and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Experience working with large‑scale datasets in cloud or data lake environments.
  • University degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related role

What you can expect - pay & process:

  • Expected base salary range is $85,000-$95,000 per year, plus the opportunity to earn an annual incentive bonus tied to performance.
