In this role you will get to:

  • Design, develop, and optimize sophisticated Generative AI-driven applications that enhance user experiences and streamline interactions across platforms.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers of various disciplines, UX designers, and product managers to define user needs and translate them into effective AI solutions.

  • Propose and lead some of the architecture and implementation of applied generative AI models, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into user interfaces and enhance the overall functionality of the platform.

  • Conduct extensive testing and performance optimization to ensure high-quality and responsive user experiences, including troubleshooting and debugging as necessary.

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the development of best practices within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends in AI and UX, bringing new ideas and techniques to the team to ensure we remain competitive and at the cutting edge of technology.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field. Equivalent work experience is also welcomed.

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development and user experience implementation.

  • Proficient in full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript and corresponding tooling, GraphQL, HTML, CSS and React or equivalent frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of UX principles and user-centered design.

  • You have hands-on experience with applied generative AI development using tools like the Langchain suite, LlamaIndex, Spring-AI or model provider APIs.

  • Knowledge or work experience in cloud based environments such as GCP or AWS.

  • Java, Kotlin, Docker, Python or ML/Data Science experience is a bonus.

  • You excel in cross-functional environments, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • You have strong analytical skills, able to troubleshoot and refine algorithms and code for optimal performance.

  • You’re passionate about exploring new technologies and approaches in AI and UX, eager to bring fresh ideas to your projects.

Flexible work at Priceline

Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
