We are looking for a Senior Accountant - Publicly Traded Companies to join our team —a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your Role:

  • Planning and preparing audit risks assessments and conducting fieldworks for public and private company audits under IFRS;
  • Reporting to managers and partners on executions of the audit engagements;
  • Building and maintaining healthy working relationships with clients;
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Able to deliver quality work and demonstrate excellent technical accounting skills under IFRS;
  • Mentor/train staffs and understand the importance of teamwork; 
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table: 

  • CPA, CA or working towards a CPA designation; completion of UFE/CFE
  • Public practice experience is required
  • Experienced in both Private and Public Enterprise is an asset
  • Superior people and client service skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Adept organizational and time management skills, including the ability to meet deadline

Where you’ll work: Toronto, ON

Job type: Permanent, Full-time 

Your schedule: Monday to Friday 

Salary range: $70,000 - $84,000 per annum
