About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Salesforce Professional Services is seeking a Senior Account Partner to join our AMER Public Sector team, focused on Canadian Federal and Provincial government clients. Based in Canada, you'll serve as a senior trusted advisor and strategic services leader — owning complex, multi-workstream engagements, shaping long-term account strategy, and helping Canadian government agencies drive mission-critical digital transformation with the Salesforce platform.
This is a quota-carrying, highly strategic role that combines executive-level relationship management with deep services selling expertise. You'll lead pursuit efforts on the largest and most complex opportunities, partnering closely with License AEs, Delivery Architects, and executive leadership to grow Salesforce PS's footprint across Canada's public sector. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
Your Impact

  • Define and execute long-term account strategy for a portfolio of high-priority Canadian Federal and Provincial government accounts, driving significant professional services pipeline and bookings

  • Own executive-level relationships with Deputy Ministers, CIOs, CTOs, and senior program leadership to position Salesforce PS as a strategic transformation partner

  • Lead pursuit strategy and deal shaping on large, complex, multi-year services engagements — including advisory, CTO, and implementation programs (e.g., IRCC, SSC, TBS)

  • Develop and negotiate complex Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and Change Orders in partnership with Delivery Architects and Legal

  • Drive cross-functional alignment with License AEs, SEs, CSMs, and PS Delivery leadership to ensure a coordinated go-to-market approach

  • Champion Canadian Federal and Provincial procurement vehicles and acquisition strategies (e.g., ProServices, CWA, TBIPS, SSC vehicles, GC Strategies)

  • Accurately forecast large, multi-phase opportunities and maintain rigorous pipeline discipline in Salesforce CRM

  • Mentor and guide junior Account Partners, sharing best practices and elevating the broader team's effectiveness

  • Represent Salesforce PS externally at industry events, government forums, and thought leadership engagements

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technology sales, consulting sales, or professional services — with a strong and proven track record in Canadian Federal or Provincial government

  • Demonstrated success owning and closing large, complex, multi-year SOW-based services engagements (deal sizes $5M+) in a Canadian government context

  • Deep expertise in Canadian Federal procurement frameworks, Treasury Board policies, and major acquisition vehicles

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French required (written and spoken); experience working with Quebec provincial clients or Francophone Federal agencies a strong asset

  • Strong familiarity with the Salesforce platform and ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Industry Clouds, MuleSoft, Tableau, etc.); prior delivery or architecture experience a plus

  • Exceptional executive presence — able to engage and influence at the Deputy Minister and C-suite level

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada; Secret or Top Secret security clearance strongly preferred

  • Willingness to travel to client sites across Canada as needed

Desired Skills

  • Experience using AI tools like Gemini and Claude in the end to end sales cycle (e.g. account strategy research and prep, buyer intelligence, market competition analysis, pipeline identification, processing RFx)
