Role description:
The Sector Portfolio Leader for Internet & Software Clients in Americas will support the Regional Sector Executive by building awareness and visibility of Arcadis, acting as a thought leader in the market for the Internet & Software portfolio of clients or assets in the Americas.
You will support Tier 3 Account Managers within the Portfolio to strengthen their client relationships and increase NOI and NR. You may also support Client Portfolio Managers to help execute the Americas Sector/Portfolio Strategy.
Role accountabilities:
- Support the Regional Sector Executive Americas to build and drive the Portfolio strategy.
- Support Client Portfolio Managers in the Americas to execute Sector strategy with Tier 3 client accounts.
- Support Client Portfolio Managers and Account Managers in building and submitting annual Client business plans.
- Attend events and conferences to help strengthen Arcadis brand awareness in the market.
- Help to present Arcadis as thought leaders with the clients in their Portfolio.
- Support Account Managers with stakeholder management for the most strategically important clients.
- Ensure Portfolio financial performance is aligned to targets.
- Pursue new commercial models with Clients in the Americas.
- Support Client Portfolio Managers and Account Leaders to achieve Client/Portfolio financial targets (NOI, NR, cash and margin) and align them to Sector targets, pursue new commercial models with Clients as appropriate, and manage their pipeline in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Actively mentor and guide Client Portfolio Managers and Account Leaders in portfolio strategy and people management.
- Support Client Portfolio Managers and Account Leaders to develop account management capability and identify career pathway opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Extensive leadership experience working with Internet & Software clients in the Americas, with clear accountability for sales growth, client portfolio performance and pricing strategy across strategic client portfolios.
- Strong financial acumen for pricing, margin optimization and risk management, including experience shaping commercial models that balance competitiveness and profitability.
- Advanced client insights and market awareness, with the ability to interpret client priorities, sector trends and competitive dynamics to develop compelling client strategies and investment plans.
- Proven success in strategic leadership across complex, non-hierarchical, global organizations, able to set direction, communicate a compelling Industry vision and align teams across geographies to deliver Client outcomes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for high-level client engagement, with the ability to represent Arcadis credibly with senior client and partner stakeholders.
- Experience with growing client relationships and mentoring relationships with Client Portfolio Managers and Account Leaders.
- Exceptional relationship building, combining sector expertise with strong client engagement and stakeholder management, inspiring high performing teams and fostering collaboration to achieve client goals.
- Leadership style that empowers Arcadians, promotes accountability and continuous improvement, and supports a healthy, inclusive and high engagement culture aligned to the Arcadis Leadership profile of being curious, driving success and igniting passion.
- Degree level education in a relevant technical or commercial discipline, such as accounting, finance, sales, or equivalent practical experience.

US: Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $186,000 - $213,900 USD. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
CAN: The salary range for this position is $159,280 - $ 238,920 CAD. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
