Viral Nation is seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master to join our fast-paced and innovative technology team. As a Scrum Master, you will serve as a servant-leader and delivery process owner for our agile tech team, ensuring agile principles and practices are followed to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. You will work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Architects, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.
What You'll Do Here:
- Serve as Scrum Master for our agile development team, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives).
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure work is well-defined, prioritized, and scoped appropriately for sprints.
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers that impact delivery, collaborating across teams and departments.
- Champion Agile principles and coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies and align sprint goals with broader product milestones.
- Maintain transparency into work progress and health through tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and reporting
- Track sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput etc.) and use data to identify and drive continuous process improvement.
- Drive a culture of accountability, experimentation, and delivery excellence.
You'll Need To Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach supporting software development teams building enterprise SaaS software.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Proven ability to lead, support, and grow high-performing agile teams in fast-moving environments.
- Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
- Solid understanding of technical concepts and workflows—able to communicate effectively with Engineers and Architects.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification strongly preferred.
