Job Description

Role: Sales Specialist

Job Summary: Join Roofmart, Canada’s National distributor for Exterior Building Supply for Roofing, Siding, Metal and Building Envelope. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and expanding market share by offering tailored solutions to contractors, architects, and other clients. You will define and execute strategic sales plans, collaborate with suppliers, and provide product education to both customers and internal teams. Job Responsibilities:
  • Developing and managing relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of Company products

  • Growing new business and expanding market share by providing solutions for the needs of current and future contractors, architects and customers

  • Defining, building, implementing and monitoring Sales Plan, including sales strategies, targets, and priorities

  • Creating action plans for defined sales targets and working with our suppliers to execute the plans

  • Educating customers and staff on products; managing customer sample & educational stock levels

  • Managing customer payments & credit in coordination with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations, and AR adjustments within set rules

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset

  • College Diploma or Degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 3 or more years of successful Sales experience

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations

  • Authorized to work in Canada

  • Ability to travel

Salary range: 60.000 - 80.000/year + comission
