What will you work on?
We are looking for a dynamic Marketing & Sales Coordinator to support the Canadian Sales & Marketing organization. This position serves as the functional bridge between the marketing and sales teams, ensuring that promotional and media campaigns, sales enablement tools, and retailer presentation materials are executed flawlessly. The ideal candidate is a highly organized multi-tasker who combines creative marketing flair with a data-driven approach to supporting sales growth. You will work closely with the Brand Management Team and the National Sales leads. This role reports to the Sr. Marketing Director for Canada.
How will you create impact?
MARKETING & BRAND EXECUTION:
- Marketing Support Materials: Support the team in delivering marketing support materials including: Full Year Media Drivers Summary, monthly reports, delivery of media creative to our media agency, build and maintain the sales version of the marketing calendar, support the brand team with the Integrated marketing review process each season
- Character Management: In partnership with the Preschool Brand Lead coordinate the partnership with Kidomo & our PAW Patrol Pup characters and requests for bookings.
- New Vendor/PO Creation Set up new vendors as needed and create PO’s for vendor payment
- Market Pulse Competitive: Conduct ongoing tracking of competitor activities, industry trends, and target audience insights.
- Market Pulse Shopper Marketing: Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in shopper marketing, regularly providing the team with overviews of competitive activities each season.
- Sharepoint Management: Be the key lead to ensure the Team Canada Sharepoint (our one source of truth) is organized, up to date and older files deleted or archived.
SALES ENABLEMENT & SUPPORT:
- Collateral Delivery: Equip the sales team with up-to-date marketing materials (Canadian version of Visual Line Plans) , product sheets, and competitive analysis to support buyer pitches.
- Samples: Coordinate, organize & manage the sampling ordering process for the sales team for all retailer needs supporting buyer asks. Coordinate plan & execute samples for retailer tradeshows & PR/Marketing/donation needs.
- Images: Supply, item, brand & packaging images to sales representatives and retailers for key brands as directed by your brand partners.
- Vendor Set Up: Support sales in new vendor set up
- Reports/Sales Analysis: Assist sales in generating monthly or quarterly sales and marketing reports to evaluate ROI or potential opportunities for their retailers
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with marketing, trade marketing, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Retailer Trade Shows: Coordinate logistics for retailer trade shows for retail partners
What are your skills and experience?
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience working with either a sales or marketing team ideally within a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) environment.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Canadian retail landscape and its key players (e.g., Walmart, Loblaws, Canadian Tire).
- Core Skills: Exceptional project management and presentation skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle ambiguity, multi-task, and work effectively under deadlines while managing conflicting priorities from multiple sources.
- Education: University or College degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- This role will be in office 4 days/week

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $55,000 to $65,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
