What you will do
Our Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Intern Program is a summer internship designed for students interested in pursuing a future technical sales role. This program focuses on creating market share by strategically selling Johnson Controls’ HVAC, Fire, or Security products and services to commercial customers. During this internship, you will have the opportunity to explore Johnson Controls’ diverse product offerings and develop the business acumen necessary to understand and address customer needs effectively. You will learn about our products, customer relationship techniques, and leadership skills in preparation for supporting our customers. Throughout the summer, you will collaborate directly with the Canadian leadership team on various special projects aimed at driving initiatives for our national sales professionals.

How you will do it

  • Work under the supervision and guidance of local and regional sales leaders to collect and analyze market intelligence.
  • Interpret and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present findings in actionable formats.

What we look for
Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and learn quickly.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
