Start commercial conversations about AI that enterprises can run on their own terms.

CodeNinja builds private AI systems using open-weight models, ontologies, infrastructure, and agentic memory. We help organizations keep control of their data and systems, including in airgapped environments. You will help build the Dallas pipeline for the CodeNinja Atoms commercial team.

We are looking for an SDR with roughly one year of relevant experience who enjoys research, initiating conversations, and learning a technical market. Work closely with AEs and commercial leadership to create useful customer conversations and qualified opportunities. This is a full-time role onsite in Dallas, Monday–Friday.

What you will do

• Research accounts, buying triggers, and relevant operations, IT, data, and security stakeholders.

• Write specific outreach and make calls that connect a customer problem to a credible reason to talk.

• Qualify the use case, business need, stakeholders, and timing; book meetings with a clear purpose.

• Give AEs concise handoffs and keep accurate CRM records.

• Follow up on inbound interest, events, and referrals.

• Test messaging, learn from objections, and share what works.

Your first 90 days

Learn our use cases, practise calls, and build researched account lists in month one. Establish consistent multichannel prospecting and book relevant discovery conversations in month two. By month three, generate repeatable qualified opportunities with useful handoffs and evidence about which accounts and messages respond.

Our process

Apply with your CV and basic details. Our first assessment is a four-question one-way video interview, with up to nine minutes of recording and five calendar days to complete it. You can preview questions and record up to two takes per answer. A person reviews the recording before a live conversation. Reply to your invitation for an accessible alternative or technical help. Please avoid confidential employer or customer information.

Requirements

• Around one year of sales development, inside sales, or comparable prospect-facing experience; equivalent evidence is welcome.

• Clear writing, a conversational phone manner, and persistence that respects the prospect.

• Examples of outreach, meetings, or opportunities you personally generated.

• Curiosity about AI and the ability to learn technical concepts without pretending to know every answer.

• Coachability, organization, and reliable follow-through.

• Availability to work onsite in Dallas Monday–Friday.

Previous SaaS, data, infrastructure, or security experience is helpful. No mandatory degree or prior AI experience.

CodeNinja welcomes qualified applicants from all backgrounds. We assess job-related skills and performance evidence and provide reasonable accommodations during hiring.

Benefits

Annual base salary: USD 55,000–65,000. Target variable compensation: USD 20,000–25,000. Total on-target earnings (OTE): USD 75,000–90,000. OTE depends on meeting the agreed targets and is not guaranteed. Commission is uncapped; a written plan will define qualification, targets, crediting, and payment terms.

Learn directly from commercial leadership and technical colleagues and help shape a new sales motion. Development toward AE responsibilities depends on performance and business needs. Benefits and employment terms will be explained during the process.
