Job Description

As a valuable member of the Retail & Merchandising team, you will be responsible for the delivery of championship customer service to fans at our Real Sports Memorabilia locations.  Your approach to sales goes beyond just a sale as you create an individualized, seamless, safe, and fun fan experience. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet fans promptly and enthusiastically. 

  • Provide friendly and informed responses to inquiries regarding our Memorabilia items. 

  • Ability to take customer payments and package sold items. 

  • Operate POS handheld credit card machine. 

  • Keep the work area clean and organized. 

  • Each shift is approximately five hours.

  • Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies, as well as Real Sports Memorabilia Scheduling & Availability Policy

  • Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required 

  • Previous experience in retail environment an asset

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

  • Familiarity with the City of Toronto and tourist attractions an asset 

  • Must work well under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously 

  • Self-starter who takes accountability 

  • A positive, winning attitude, incorporating integrity, confidentiality, and discretion 

  • Knowledge in hockey & basketball as sports memorabilia an asset

Job Posting Compensation Range/Rate:

$17.60 / hour
