Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator supports the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software implementation projects. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, this role ensures that timelines are met, documentation is accurate, and communication flows smoothly between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Coordinate project meetings, chair the daily scrum, prepare agendas, and part of the digital transformation committee.
- Track project deliverables and milestones to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate project status updates to internal teams and customers.
- Maintain organized project documentation and ensure version control.
- Support risk and issue tracking, escalating concerns to the Project Manager as needed.
- Project Management
- Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, and support teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in a project coordination, project administration, or junior project management role (software or technology industry preferred).
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, TeamSupport or Jira).
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP or CAPM certification (or working toward it) is an asset.
This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in either PST or EST.
