What We Need

The NetBrain release team is responsible for management of release of NetBrain products.  We are seeking a Software Release Engineer to join our team. The Software Release Engineer will report to Architect team and will work on the design, build and implementation of CI/CD flows and installation packages. The world’s leading enterprises rely on our products to automatically diagram, troubleshoot and design their networks. The software development team at NetBrain fosters a challenging work environment and encourages innovation, teamwork, and creativity.


What You'll Do

  • Proactively engage with the development teams to define the product features, specifications, and requirements.
  • Design and development of web-based network management applications from high-level architecture and network infrastructure to low-level creation of site layout, user experience, database schema, data structure, workflow, graphics, unit testing, end to end integration testing, etc.
  • Work closely with the product team and various development teams to ensure complete coverage of features, scalability, and capabilities of the product's thin client environment.
  • Participate in the ideation, design, development, and maintenance of CI environment
  • Write clean, readable, testable, and maintainable installation script
  • Work with Dev/QA/DevOps team for CI/CD and building auto test environment

What You Bring

  • BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science or other related fields
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Release Engineering or DevOps
  • Familiar with Linux ( Redhat ) and Windows operating system required
  • Familiar with Jenkins, GitHub, VMWare, Docker required
  • Familiar with CI/CD work flow required
  • Proficient in programming windows batch/Powershell command, Linux Shell script and python required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, communicate with various personnel 
  • Knowledge and experience of MongoDB/ElasticSearch/Redis/Rabbitmq is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience of AWS infrastructure  is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience of AI coding is a plus
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.

What We Offer

Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize the impact that our people make in helping us achieve our goals.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between CAD $78,000 - CAD $93,000 plus potential bonus. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.

Please note that the range provided is a guideline, and may be modified.
