We're looking for a driven Recruiting Coordinator to help us grow our amazing sales team at our second HQ in Toronto! As our Recruiting Coordinator, you will manage the day-to-day processes of sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews for our talented SDR applicants. You will report to the Manager of Talent Acquisition and will work closely with sales managers to understand and meet their recruiting needs. It is a fast-paced role so you’ll need to be organized and able to change and adapt to growing business needs. This position is not within HR. While we collaborate closely with HR, we are seeking individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in recruiting.

Our HQ2 in Toronto is growing exponentially and you could be a major part of making that happen! 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and job requirements, offering strategic advice and support throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage candidate interviewing processes
  • Create and manage job postings
  • Review and organize incoming resumes
  • Conduct initial phone screens
  • Organize in-person interviews
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and processes
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on recruitment activities, challenges, and successes.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely feedback and communication.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personnel information including salary and related information

Qualifications

  • 1 year of in-house recruitment experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Greenhouse or other applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred
  • Ability to manage projects independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload
  • A service-oriented mindset who is ready to partner with our hiring managers to find new talent
  • Energetic and entrepreneurial personality with a strong internal drive to succeed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work independently
  • Willingness to be continually challenged and learn from mistakes
  • Capacity to respond quickly to a constantly evolving business model and challenges

Notices:

  • AI: Levitate will use Artificial Intelligence-supported tools to screen, assess or select applicants at one or more stages of the recruitment process for this position.
  • Compensation: Compensation for this position is a $52,000 base + $13,000 bonus = $65,000 CAD on target earnings.
  • Vacancy Status: This position is being publicly advertised to support ongoing hiring needs and may be used to fill an existing vacancy or to support anticipated team growth. Depending on business needs at the time of hire, this role may be filled as a backfill or as new headcount.
