As a strategic partner supporting all of Huawei Canada, the Human Resource Department plays a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with corporate and legal standards. About the job:

  • Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies for technical and research positions, with a focus on AI and software roles

  • Source candidates through multiple channels including professional networks, online platforms, industry events, and academic institutions

  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers throughout the selection process

  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, research institutions, and professional communities to create talent pipelines

  • Stay current on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive recruiting practices in the tech and AI sectors

  • Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding

  • Track recruitment metrics and regularly report on hiring progress

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective job descriptions

The total target annual compensation (based on 2,080 hours per year) ranges from $48,000 to $94,000 depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
