We are seeking a proactive, results oriented Recruiter to join the Human Resources team on a 12 month contract.  In this onsite role in Mississauga, Ontario, you will partner with hiring managers and business leaders to manage full recruitment cycle activities, from intake meetings and candidate sourcing/assessment through to onboarding.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct hiring manager intake meetings to identify skills and knowledge requirements and develop a plan for sourcing and selecting qualified internal and external candidates that meet criteria
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination
  • Develop interview guides, questionnaires, and candidate assessment tools to support effective hiring decisions
  • Conduct prescreening of shortlisted candidates, review results and make recommendations to hiring managers
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews with hiring managers and candidates in a timely and professional manner
  • Proactively source candidates and develop an effective pipeline of external talent and actively maintain engagement of pipeline
  • Provide hiring managers with candidate feedback and recruitment data to support informed hiring decisions
  • Lead coordination of offer preparation, background checks and onboarding in collaboration with hiring managers
  • Create a positive candidate experience by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining meaningful engagement throughout the recruitment process
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges, industry associations, and community partners to support future hiring needs


What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in autobody collision repair, automotive repair or manufacturing industry
  • Post secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven ability to recruit for a range of positions on a national, multi-location level
  • Good knowledge of provincial legislation governing employee recruitment, selection, and hiring
  • Proven ability to manage high volume of openings, projects, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexible and adaptable to change
  • A self-starter with the proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills 


What You’ll Get


  • The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 (please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity)
